MBARARA LEADERS LAUNCH CAMPAIGN TO RECALL MP TUSIIME

The Mbarara municipality Member of Parliament Michael Tusiime is facing tough times after the Mbarara local leaders started a campaign to collect signatures to unseat him accusing him of intrigue.
The Mbarara leaders and locals led by Isaac ; the youth chairperson for Nyakayajo division in Mbarara municipality have started a number of activities ranging from demonstration and collecting for signatures from the people Mbarara municipality all aiming at un seating Michael Tusiiime.
They accuse Tusiime of killing the vibrancy of Mbarara municipality in terms of politics through involving in a number of senseless wars with his fellow leaders.
The locals also accused Tusiime of initiating all the wars that are now affecting Mbarara municipality, claiming that the wars between Mbarara municipal councilors and their speaker Boney Tashobya, that also Tusiime is funding the war against the western youth MP Mwine Mpaka feeling that he may come against him in 2021.
The Campaign leader Iga said that they have reliable information that Tusiime is the one behind all the wars in the municipality saying that he has reached an extent to paying a number of Mbarara municipal councilors not to attend the council meetings.
“The man is behind all the wars that are going on within the municipality and the district at large, we have evidence that he even paid councilors not to attend a council meeting. He is becoming a disgrace to Mbarara so we need to recall him back “said Iga.
He said that the embattled MP started a war between the Mbarara central markets traders who were relocated to the independence park but was letter stopped by the public accounts committee of parliament after a series of complaints from the leaders.
Other leaders who are behind the move of collecting signatures to re call Tusiime include Michael Mushambo, Yasin Turyasingura, and Speech Mujurizi among others.
The committee headed by Regan Okum directed all the political leaders of both Mbarara district and municipality to stay away from the affairs of the central market and leave the town clerk Edward Lwanga and the chief administrative o9fficer Carthebat Esoku to do his work
However according to our highly place source at the white house, said that the process of collecting signatures and demonstration of youth with the municipality are being facilitated by high political figures in Mbarara district.
