ST. KAGWA BOARDING P/S LAUNCHES UGX 800M FUNDRAISING

In Bushenyi—-
St. Kagwa Boarding Primary School located in Bushenyi Ishaka municipality yesterday launched an 800 million fundraising aimed at completing an office block.
The building according to the headmaster Celestine Twinomugisha is supposed to accommodate offices computer lab, offices among others.
The guest of honor is supposed to be deputy speaker Rt. Hon. Thomas Tayebwa on 25th Oct.2026.
Deputy RDC for Bushenyi Donanto William Katsigazi accompanied by the Mayor Richard Byaruhanga Nestor officiated at the launch of the fundraising.
On the same day, pledges and cash were received; Dr. Innocent Muramuzi university lecturer at Valley University and the mayor pledged one million shillings each.

St. Kagwa Boarding Primary School pledged a cow worth 2.5million shillings while BFM pledged 3 hours worth of airtime approximately 3M shillings
According to Celestine Twinomugisha, the fundraising is mainly cash based, no agricultural products like goats
