HEALTH SITUATION BACK TO NORMAL AS MEDICAL DOCTORS ARE BUSY IN KABAROLE

Business is back to normal at Fort portal regional referral hospital commonly known as Buhinga following the suspension of doctor’s strike medical services over the last three weeks.
The environment is now calm at the facility with doctors taking charge of the services that were over the past three weeks handled by medical personnel from the armed forces.
www.mknewslink.com reporter this morning toured at the facility in several departments where medics were in wards treating patients.
At least there is an increased turn up in the out patients department compared to the previous days.
Our reporter also spoke to some of the patients who disclosed that at least they have gained hope since there are doctors to treat them though there is no medical supply.
They added that when a patient comes is just diagnosed then after asked to buy medicine and other equipments for themselves.
The doctors suspended their strike on November 25th at general assembly after government committed to addressing their demands by December 15th.
Among the demands government promised to address was the provision of the emergency supplies in hospitals, as solution to the impasse between the state house health monitoring and salary reviews.
