RUKUNGIRI MAN ARRESTED FOR STEALING RDC’S COWS

Police in Rukungiri district are holding one in its custody Ayeera
Emmanuel a resident of Runyiya cell, Kahoko, Nyakagyeme sub county
Rukungiri for stealing cattle belonging Rukiiga district RDC.
Ayeera was arrested while sealing two cows in Rugyeyo Kanungu district
belonging to the resident district commission for RUKIGA district Mr. Emmy Ngabirano that were stolen on 25/11/2015 in his home Kabwoma NYakagyeme Rukungiri district.
He confessed that he was in company with one Disimus Rwabona a
resident of Rwabwoma Kahoko , Nyakagyeme Sub county who is currently
on run.
Ayeera further said that they have been stealing cattle in Kebison,
Kigaga Kyamurari all villages in Rukungiri and that Gad Kafora has
been their dealer during surveying before stealing takes
place.
The District police commander Nanoka Moses said that investigations
are still going on as police is hunting for Dimus and that suspects will
be taken to courts of law to answer charges of theft.
