KIU BOSS VOWS TO TRANSFORM TEA INDUSTRY

The Kampala International University tycoon Hassan Bassajjabalaba has vowed to transform the tea industry because wherever has gone before has left a mark.
Bassajjablaba who has invested in numerous of ventures including the famous Kampala International University with a number of branches in Kansanga in Kampala, KIU Darlasama in Tanzania, a branch in Kanya and Ishaka –Bushenyi branch.
Bassabalaba who doubles as the Bushenyi district NRM chairperson has also invested in Hides and skins where he has left remarkable achievements.
He added that on transforming the tea industry he will embark on opening a number of other factories within the region.
Bassajjabalaba while speaking at the end of year party for global village tea factory in Kyamuhunga town council in Bushenyi district recently said that he will use what he has to improve on the quality of tea in the region and help tea farmers to make their dreams come true.
He said that since he has transformed other sectors with in a shorted time, he will also do the same in the tea industry through improving the tea price for the betterment of the tea farmers in the region.
In all these ventures Bassajjabalaba has created a number of employment opportunities for youth and these has reduced on the rate of crimes in Uganda and other countries of East Africa.
