KABALE NRM BOSS ARRESTED OVER DEBTS

Edison Tukahabwa aka political the Kabale National Resistance Movement –NRM publicity secretary has been charged before the Kabale grade one magistrate over failure to clear a debt of 1.4 million shillings.
Tukahabwa was arrested yesterday morning by Basigyi High court bailiffs at Kafunjo Primary school and produced him before the Kabale Grade on magistrate his Worship Raphael Vueni.

Prosection told court that Tukahabwa has failed to clear his debt of
1.4 million shillings that he owed one Prisca Kantangizi even though
been reminded several times.

Tukahabwa pleaded before the magistrate that he be given time to pay
up the money saying that he had managed to pay 2.3 million shillings
of the 4 million that they had agreed with the complainant after
knocking him with his vehicle.

His worship Vueni then allowed him to go back home after presenting two sureties Denis Nzeirwe the Kabale deputy RDC and Maurice Mugenga Keitaba the Kabale NRM registrar.

Court also ordered him to pay the money by Friday if not; he will be committed to civil prison in Ndorwa government prison.
