BAMUGEMEREIRE ORDERS ARREST OF FERDSULT ENGINEERING COMPANY BOSS

Ferdinand Mugisha the executive director Ferdsult Engineering Company has been this afternoon arrested on orders of the chairperson Commission of inquiry on land matters justice Catherine Bamugemereire over several numbers of charges.
In 2015, Kabarole district local government entered into a memorandum of understanding with Ferdsult engineering company to lease 20 cater lakes in Kabarole.
Meanwhile, appearing before the commission today, Ferdinand has been accused of blackmailing some government officials to use the 20 crater lakes in Kabarole citing of Operation Wealth creation boss Salim Sale, intimidating police and other security agencies, use of excessive powers on the crater lakes through assaulting whoever accesses it, faking certificates of approval to carry out his fishing activities from the ministry of Agriculture, animal industry and Fisheries.
The commission also accused Mugisha of deploying security groups at crater lakes who beat up people, grabbing people’s wives, shooting; citing one James Rukampena whose leg was shot and cut off.
By the time of arrested, Mugisha was asked to produce all the documents that led him to use the crater lakes.
However the commission has accused the Kabarole district leadership and Namaland ministry of Agriculture to terrorize people and hoodwink the government.
