AGE LIMIT REMOVAL: “MUSEVENI WOULD HAVE GONE BACK TO BUSH WAR” –MINISTER KASOLO

The minister of state in charge of micro finance; Haruna Kasolo has disclosed that president Museveni would have gone back to the bush war had the parliament not lifted the age limit cap.
He says Museveni used guns to become president and he could still use the guns if the Article 102(b) of the constitution were not amended. “Do you think Museveni had forgotten how to use guns?” Minister Kasolo asked.
The minister made the remarks yesterday Marc21, 2018 while officiating at the Kyamuhunga Peoples SACCO (KYAPS) 20th Annual General Meeting held at Kyamuhunga Roman catholic Centre in Igara West constituency.
He hailed the area Member of Parliament; Raphael Magyezi for successfully moving the motion to amend the constitution thus naming him historical number One.
The KYAPS manager;Sharon Nahabwe appealed to the Bank of Uganda to introduce financial cards to all SACCOs in a measure to prevent people from multiple borrowing.
She revealed that on July1,2018 Bank Of Uganda will take over Kyamuhunga Peoples SACCO KYAPS for easy monitoring.
KYAPS made profits amounting to Ug.sh.936, 000,000 in the 2017-2018 financial year.
