PAKWACH CAO ARRESTED OVER UGX 43 MILLION DEBT

Godfrey Ogwang Okello, the chief administrative officer,Pakwach district was arrested over failure to pay court costs amounting toUGx 43 million.
Ogwang was arrested on Wednesday 2nd May 2018 in Masindi town by police and the court bailiffs on orders of the Masindi high court deputy registrar, Simon Kintu Zirintusa, who issued the warrant of arrest on the 25th of April 2018.

Ssansa Nalubega, dragged Godfrey Ogwang the former CAO Kiryandongo district and Kiryandongo district local government to Masindi high court in 2012 accusing them of wrongful interdiction.
Nalubega told mknewslink.com that she was interdicted from the position of town clerk of Bweyale town council when Ogwang was working as the chief administrative officer Kiryandongo district.

Nalubega said that in 2012 court ruled in her favor and ordered Ogwang to pay her Ug shs 43M but she has never been paid.
