BREAKING NEWS: FINALLY MOVIT MD RELEASED FROM ISO CELLS

Movit managing Director Simpson Birungi, was today evening July 16, 2018 released from ISO detention after 45 days in cells.
In photographs and information released on face book by the director of operations Movit ltd Emmy Musasirane, They showed Mr. Birungi with Mr Musasirane celebrating the release.
His close friend Baram Barugahara said“Our dear friend Birungi Simpson Akiiki the humble, polite and kind man MD Chairman Movit Group of companies is out unconditionally realized. Special thanks to the authorities for clearing his name and image of any criminal charges 45 days plus of keeping him under lock was so painful and hurting but thank God is set free and the truth known.”
Birungi was on June 7 arrested by Internal Security Organization (ISO) operatives. The ISO operatives later handed him over to police and he was detained at Kireka Special Investigations Directorate, former Violent Crime Crack Unit, for alleged murder of his former manager, Stephen Asaba, in 2010.
On Tuesday June 11, Justice Moses Ssekaana issued the order for ISO to release Birungi unconditionally after government failed to turn up to court to explain the detention.
He was released on police bond and re-arrested by ISO.
Asaba was murdered and his body dumped in Nakawuka in Kajjansi Town Council, Wakiso DistrictSource:
