BUSHENYI WOMAN MURDERED, BODY THROWN IN FOREST

Police in Bushenyi are investigating circumstances surrounding the death of a 23 year old woman.

According to SP Martial Tumusiime the greater Bushenyi region spokesperson, Christine Atuhaire  a resident of Rwamugasha Rushinya Kakanju Bushenyi district was on 1^st August 2018 found lying unconscious in an eucalyptus forest in the same village half a kilometer from her home where she had gone to collect firewood.

Martial noted that the deceased had severe cut injuries on her head. He added that she was rushed to Kampala International University teaching hospital and later on 2^nd transferred to Mbarara teaching hospital where she died on 3^rdof this month.

He said that investigations are going on and that no arrests have so far been made.
