A STAFF AT UGANDA’S EMBASSY IN BRUSSELS VISITS UGANDA AFTER SERVING FOR OVER 38YEARS

Mr. Yisa Goloba a Belgian with Nigerian origin served Uganda’s embassy in Brussels Belgium for over 38 years as a senior driver.
He visited Uganda between 27th Jan to 4th Feb 2023. This is according to the Deputy head of mission to the European Union in Brussels Belgium Ambassador Franklin Katungwe.
The visit to Uganda by the former senior staff of Uganda’s Embassy in Brussels was facilitated by former Uganda’s military attache Maj. Gen. Moses Rwakitarate and Franklin Katungwe current deputy head of mission.
Amb. Katungwe told www.mknewslink.com managing editor that Mr. Yisa Goloba had been facilitated together with his wife, but the wife couldn’t make it to Uganda because of technical issues.
During his visit to Uganda he was hosted at Maj. Gen. Rwakitarate’s home, toured cities of Kampala and Entebbe and later traveled to Bushenyi District.
In Bushenyi he stayed at Amb. Katungwe’s residence for two days and later went to Queen Elizabeth national park and continued to Fort portal city.
In Fort portal city he met Amb. Winyi Ashaba and Amb. Balinda. He continued to Kyenjojo and stayed a night at Adana’s residence.
Earlier he had met a permanent secretary Minister of foreign affairs. The PS thanked him for the good job well done at the Embassy in Brussels for over 38years.
According to Amb. Katungwe Mr. Yisa Goloba visited the source of the nile and had lunch with Amb. Moses Sebunya.
