The Bishop South Ankole Diocese Rt Rev Nathan Ahimbisibwe has asked young people intending to marry to always prepare themselves in time and make sure they are committed.
Bishop Ahimbisibwe made remarks on Saturday August 3rd during the giveaway ceremony of Komujuni Kezia a daughter to veteran Journalist and Manager Radio Ankole Elliott Kabangira Magande which took place in Nyaruraara Rwakirunguura Buyanja Rukungiri district.
Flanked by his wife maama Lillian Ahimbisibwe, the Bishop expressed concern that many people have held very luxurious parties attended by people who sacrifice their time and monies end up in divorce after a short while.
He blessed Komujuni Kezia and her husband Ainomugisha Nicholas from Isingiro District and asked Kezia not to be the woman that would have wasted monies and many people’s time.
Ms Priscah Tumusiime the political assistant to Hon Mwesigwa Rukutana, asked Komujuni to not only to be wife but a wife material instead of being just woman in marriage.
Elliott Kabangira Magande said that it was unfortunate to have given away his daughter into marriage after losing his wife and mother to Kezia late Kellen Kabangira who passed away after being elected as village chairperson Nyaruraara.
Kabangira Magande advised Ainomugisha to love his wife and forgive each other whenever there is misunderstanding in their marriage for it to be successful.
