AMB. KATUNGWE’S FATHER-IN –LAW LAID TO REST

The father-in- law of Amb. Franklin Katungwe has been laid to rest in Rutooma Village in Kyeizooba sub-county Bushenyi district.
The service to send off Mzee Bampaire was presided over by the Bishop of west Ankole diocese Rt Rev. Johnson Twinomujuni.
While giving his speech together with the children of Mzee Bampaire, Amb. Katungwe hailed his father in law for being very organized man.
He noted that he married from the family in 1978 and since then, he has been closer to the family supporting each other.
His children Justus Bampaire and Tugume Bampaire acknowledged that whatever their father needed on earth was provided.
They added that Bishop Johnson visited them some time back and guided them on how to deal with old people and they indeed implemented it.
Amb. Franklin Katugwe is the deputy head of mission in charge of European Union and Benelux countries and he sits in Brussels.
Dignitaries that include Amb. Dr. Richard Nduhuura, Col. Amanya Mushega, Counsel Marvin Baryaruha, civil servants like Winston Katushabe commissioner ministry of works and Transport among others attended the burial.
