AMBITIOUS GENERAL WARD CONSTRUCTION COMMENCES AT BUSHENYI HC IV IN BUSHENYI

Bushenyi HC IV construction of a General ward has been officially commenced and to be executed with effective from today 20th June 2023.

Bushenyi district mayor who was represented by his deputy Betungura Milton has handed the construction plan of the General ward building to the National Enterprise Co-operation (NEC) contractor in a contract of 4months period.

Milton revealed that for the first phase the building will be from the ground to beam level according to 299million funds released by the Ministry of Health to Bushenyi HC IV.

But the whole project will incur a total of 970million for the General ward building to be fully completed.

However, he expressed a concern of leaders need to lobby for more resources and develop Bushenyi HC IV to a hospital level.

Namanya vian in-charge Bushenyi HC IV, noted that as a health facility feel so glad to see the government working to put up a General building that will constitute maternity ward, general treatment ward and childrens ward.

Dr.Vian says that the General ward going to be constructed will secure more health services near to the people and reduce costs in referral of patients to Kitagata being the nearest government hospital.

He added that in their quest to a Hospital level, having a such building and with more services can boost chances to attain their ambition to become a government hospital.

Contractor NEC has honored the contract given to them by the Ministry of Health and pledged to take it serious and produce a purely good quality of work.
