ANGRY MOB BEATS,STRIPS OFF THREE THIEVES IN ISHAKA

Three suspected thieves survived being lynched last night they were caught red handed stealing clothes from Macklin’s retail shop along Kagamba road few metres from Rwenzori hotel in Ishaka town Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality.
The trio, two females and a man were arrested after they had allegedly packed clothes that were not equivalent to the money they had paid.
It is alleged that one identified herself as Sheila; a resident of Rwemirokora, Ward III, Ishaka division, a male identified himself as carpenter Ham Mazima, a resident of Rwansasi and another woman who was not identified entered Macklin’s shop disguising to be customers at around 9:20 pm, shortly went out with bags full of children clothes and trousers.
Macklin made an alarm that attracted boda boda riders from Rwenzori hotel boda boda stage and members of the community who came and apprehended one of the suspects.
Angry community members striped them naked while beating them without calling Ishaka police officers who are just kilometres from the scene.
They were later rescued by a Good Samaritan who precluded mob justice, advising the angry bodaboda riders decided to confiscate the stolen items and release the suspects who went away empty handed.
