Ankole western university AWU  a west Ankole diocese  founded university  today 13^th July 2018 graduated 243 students  majority of whom were females.

In a function presided over by the chancellor who is also the bishop west Ankole diocese Rt Rev. Johnson Twinomujuni. 169 females and 74 males graduated in different courses.

He advised graduands to be disciplined and respect God.

The chief guest sir Richard Kaijuka the former minister of energy congratulated graduands and management AWU for this great achievement.

The newly appointed chairman of the university council Dr. Nathan karema confirmed his commitment to grow the university into a great institution in the region.
