ANNET MUGISHA’S ‘ABAM’ TACKLES COLLAPSING FINANCIAL ASSOCIATIONS

Lack of co-operation and seriousness among members of the financial associations has been blamed for their collapse after a short time.
Geoffrey Twinomugisha the chairman ABAM development association revealed this during a monthly meeting which took place today at their patrons premises in Ruhandagazi along Ishaka -Bushenyi road.
He emphasized that some associations have collapsed because of lack of co-operation and seriousness among members in a way that they refuse to pay back their loans, attend meetings among others.
He thus asked members to cooperate so as to achieve their common goal which is Development.
Members were also asked to choose leaders who are development oriented come 2021 general election. They gave an example of Ms Annet Katusiime Mugisha who is likely to contest for the Woman Member of Parliament in Bushenyi.
ABAM development association started 5 months back under the patron ship of Ms Annet Katusiime Mugisha with an objective of helping members out of poverty.
It has a membership of 20 people from across Bushenyi district and has so far raised five million to begin its operation.
