ANOTHER BUSINESSMAN KIDNAPPED IN GREATER BUSHENYI

IN BUSHENYI—-

Police in greater Bushenyi are hunting for people who kidnapped a youth a broad day light today May 10, 2016. This according to the PRO greater Bushenyi Mr. Martial Tumusiime.

Benard Tugume  aged 22 a resident of Mitooma district was kidnapped on mondy afternoon from Kizinda town in Bushenyi district and the kidnappers allegedly took him to Buhweju District.

According to the Regional Police Commander Eddie Serunjogi the kidnappers demanded for a 200,000 ransom of which was paid to them but they later demanded for 100,000 so as to release Tugume.

He added that the kidnappers were using the telephone contact of the victim to solicit the ransom. RPC told www.mknewslink.com editor this evening of May 10, 2017 that he dispersed a team of police officers was headed by Busenyi DPC Damiano Katwesiime to comp all Buhweju hills and rescue the youth.

Mr. Sserinjoji also said that a team of flying squad and other police officers headed for Buhweju. We shall keep u updated on the story.

Cases of kidnap are rampant in Greater Bushenyi. Julius is the fouth person to be kidnapped by unknown thugs. The others are prominent businessman Late Jon Rwamutwe wo was kidnapped and murdered  after he was dumped in Ibanda district.

The others are Savio Aruho an agriculture officer for Rweru sub-county in Rubirizi district and Ngabirano sivertol a court clerk at Bushenyi chief magistrate’s court.  The two survived the kidnaps and are even out of hospitals.
