ANOTHER COVID 19 PATIENT ADMITTED AT MBARARA REFERRAL HOSPITAL

Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital has admitted its second patient of Covid-19 who was brought in from Isingiro district after he was intercepted at Kikagate boarder.
The patient is Ugandan cargo truck driver who tested positive for COVID-19 at Mirama Hills Border in Ntungamo district from Rwanda and he was enroute to Tanzania before being intercepted at the Kikagate boarder yesterday evening.
The Resident District Commissioner Isingiro district Herbert Muhangi said that the driver had spent a day around Kikagate town and he was evacuated by Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital health experts.
The director Mbarara regional referral hospital Dr Celestine Barigye confirmed the admission of this patient noting that they are now up to trace his contacts.
Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital admitted its first Covid-19 patient who was intercepted at Mirama hills in Ntungamo Border with Rwanda over the weekend.
