ANOTHER MASINDI THIEF SWARMED BY BEES

A man in his 40s whose identity was not readily established by press
time but a resident of Kyema Cell in Kigulya Division, Masindi
Municipality today morning rushed to a business woman, Beth Kaganzi after bees swarmed him for allegedly stealing more than 1.4million
shillings.
According to Kaganzi, the proprietor of K-Beth Cosmetics and Salon,the man who was covered with bees on his hands and head purportedly stole her money three times.
The woman said she sought prayers from pastors for her money to be returned but it did not materialize until one of her relatives allegedly gave her a herb to catch the thief.
Kaganzi added that at around 6am today, she saw the alleged thief rushing to her pleading for rescue after being attacked by the bees.
A traditional herbalist who identified herself as Senga Nabwami claimed to have sent the bees to attack the man.
One of the suspect’s neighbours who did not identify himself to the press said he saw him covered with bees but does not know the authenticity of the incident.
When contacted, the community liaison officer at Masindi police station, Peter Mukasa appealed to the public to always take such suspects to police for legal action.
At the end of November last year another man was also swarmed by bees in Kirasa 1 cell in central division Masindi municipalit for allegedly
stealing a hoof. Senga Nabwami the same witch doctor claimed to have performed rituals that invoked the bees to attack the thief.
