ARCHBISHOP KAZIMBA CHALLENGES DIOCESES TO INVEST ON CHURCH LANDS TO CHASE AWAY GRABBERS

The archbishop of the Church of Uganda Most Rev. Dr. Stephen Kazimba has called upon all the dioceses allover Uganda to invest in their vast lands in order to overcome land grabbers.
He said this during his first pastoral visit in south Ankole Diocese Ntungamo district.
Dr. Kazimba commissioned a number of projects at Kyamate hill including a hatchery, South Ankole mission health Centre III, Dean’s house, fish pond, mother’s union house, and irrigation scheme worth over ugx 635 million from the ministry of water and environment.
Flanked by his wife maama Margret Kazimba, he was received by south Ankole Diocese Bishop Nathan Ahimbisibwe and his wife Maama Lillian and diocesan staff.
He is however expected to end his three day pastoral visit today at St. Matthew’s cathedral.
