AVENGE! MOB DESTROYS RUKUNGIRI LCI CHAIRMAN’S PROPERTY OVER WIFE’S MURDER

A suspected mob has razed houses and gardens of one Evaristo Musinguzi 40 , the Chairperson Lc1 Kakibaya A Southern Division Kebisoni Town council Rukungiri District who is currently in Police custody over the death of his wife.

It’s alleged that on 21st Dec 2021, Musinguzi murdered his wife Elizabeth Nuwamanya 27 following a quarrel over the food he was served which he suspected was poisoned.

He later handed himself to Kebisoni police which transferred him to Rukungiri central police for further management

However on Wednesday evening, a mob suspected to be from Kyabashenyi where the wife comes from appeared in Kakibaya and vandalized Musinguzi’s property.

David Kwebangira, the Kebisoni Town council LCV councilor condemned the mob action saying that the suspected killer and those who vandalized his properties are both in the wrong.

Police have been deployed in the area to restore sanity.
