The Minister for Karamoja Affairs who is also the Member of Parliament for Ibanda South, Eng. John Byabagambi has urged youth to work hard promoting peace, and unity.
Byabagambi said this while speaking as the chief guest during the closure of a four days conference yesterday at St. Paul cathedral in North West Ankole diocese.
He asked the youth to go and establish a right relationship with God that is rooted and built up in Jesus Christ.
He urged them to bear fruits that will feed many people and the Nation giving hopes to people who are hopeless.
He warned the youth to avoid moving with wrong elements in the
societies who will ruin their future life especially with the luxurious lifestyles.
The bishop of North West Ankole diocese Rt. Rev. Amos Magezi advised the youth to fear sins, government and the church to avoid problems.
He asked them to respect their parents, teachers, superiors and Christians in their respective parishes.
The four days conference for North West Ankole Anglican Diocese in Ibanda district started on Thursday at Kibubura Girls secondary school in Ibanda municipal and was attended by 610 participants from the archdeaconries of Kakinga, Bigyera,Nyabuhikye and Ibanda deanery.
It s aimed at improving the livelihood of the youth in Ibanda district.
