BAMUGISHA COMMINITY WELFARE GIVES GOATS TO KAKANJU YOUTH

Youth in Kakanju Subcounty Bushenyi Ishaka municipality under their group Kakanju youth development initiative has today 24th Jan.2019 received goats from the Bamugisha community Welfare limited.
Bamugisha community welfare limited is a nongovernmental organization under the leadership of Eng. Dr Silver Mugisha and family, aimed at fighting against poverty and famine in Bushenyi.
Officially handing over the 10 goats to youth from 5 parishes of Kakanju at Kakanju health centre, Lauben Muhanguzi the sub county chairman advised the youth to use the goats to improve their financial status so that they do not suffer in future.
He asked them to mobilize others to join the group so that they can also benefit from such organizations promising that he will make sure the group continues to grow every day.
Rosemary Atuhaire Kyamuhunga youth councilor also Bushenyi district Bamugisha limited coordinator cautioned the youth to ensure that the goats are taken good care of, such that others can benefit .
She noted that those who are not interested in keeping goats will get pigs and hens noting that every youth must benefit from Bamugisha community welfare because its here to work for the people of Bushenyi
Atuhaire further noted that people should not look at Bamugishas work in the communities as a political tool but as a strategy to fight poverty out of Bushenyi.
