BASHAKARA LAID TO REST AMIDST CALLS TO FIGHT RELIGIOUS DIFFERENCES IN SHEEMA

The former town clerk Mbarara municipality David Bashakara was laid to rest yesterday 20th june2019 at his ancestral home in Kabingo cell in Mushanga Sheema municipality.
A 71year old man Bashakara succumbed to diabetes on Monday this week; he left one wife and 9 children and 20 grand children.
During the send off mass lead by his Grace Archbishop of Mbarara archdioceses Paul Kamunza Bakyega, he described the late as the God fearing man.
He revealed that Bashakara was uniting the entire religion saying during his time in office in Mbarara as town clerk he gave out all the religions land to set up their development.
One of his sons Victor Kagwisagye challenged the mourners in Sheema to desist from politics which is killing Sheema noting that Bashakara who was working for the development was always hunted on the line of religion.
In his response Frank Kyerere RDC Sheema district said that as NRM government they discourage people from fighting on religious lines that cause divisionism hence hindering development.
