People with Disabilities (PWDs) have been called upon to be self confident if they are to develop themselves in all aspects of life.
Lt Col. Edith Nakalema the head of State House Anti Corruption unit said that sometimes PWDS have lagged behind due to lack of self esteem and end up being neglected in different government programs.
She made the remarks yesterday while opening the Ntungamo Municipality PWDs Sacco at a function held at Municipality grounds where she represented the president.
Nakalema implored the SACCO members to improve their saving culture so that they can develop themselves.
Prevah Nasasiira the SACCO chairperson urged the PWDs to always push themselves so that government can get the way of helping them.
Nasasiira who is also the councilor representing PWDs at Ntungamo Municipality council commended Nakalema for fighting corruption.
The president contributed 20 million to develop the PWDs SACCO.
