Police in Bushenyi has warned parents against giving their children school fees in cash in a bid to reduce the risks of theft.
Speaking to www.mknewslink.com this morning, SP Mercial Tumusiime the greater Bushenyi police spokesperson advised parents that as students go back to school on Monday, school fees should be paid in banks and students given bank documents in order to reduce on the cases of loss of school fees money by the students.
He has also noted that police will be on watch during this period to get all students who divert from going to school and end up in lodges plus other places that are out of bounds for school children.
Mercial has warned drivers who take advantage of this period to overload their vehicles and those who drive recklessly to be carefully as this may lead to accidents. He said that police will be on roads to deal with such drivers.
