The bishop of west Ankole diocese Rt. Rev. Johnson Twinomujuni has hinted again at the parents who sexual abuse their biological children.
“I was watching TV West news Agacencwire and security officers announced that they were hunting for a parent who had slept with her daughter but what shocked me was the daughter defending the father to be left alone because he did not defile her,” the bishop lamented.
All these and many others were revealed at the confirmation and dedication of S.4 and S.6 students at the school late last evening.
147 students were confirmed into the Anglican faith and over around 400 students accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior.
Bishop Johnson further warned students to concentrate on academic and ensure that they become very responsible Citizens in future.
He said that some of them are rocket science while others can discover solutions to diseases like what Prof. Ogwang of Mbarara University did during COVID 19 with his Covidex.
He added that they should be responsible and marry responsible husbands; not drunkards and drug addicts.
The headmistress of the school Juliet Muzoora thanked the team she works with and awarded some of them who included Samson Odek a physics and mathematics teacher.
She noted that Odek has worked so hard and demulsified mathematics and physics at Bweranyangi Girls.
The three who were awarded received gifts as a surprise
28th June 2022, a medical doctor Gilverse Twiine Rubagumya appeared before court on charges of aggravated defilement after defiling and impregnating his 17 year old biological daughter a former student of Bweranyangi girls’ school.
On 27th Sept. 2022, chief magistrate’s court granted him bail after his case was reduced from aggravated defilement to incest.
