BISHOP JOHNSON OFFERS REV. CANON KANKIRIHO OFFICIAL LEAVE TO RECOVER QUICKLY IN RECENT MIN RESHUFFLE

The west Ankole Diocesan Bishop Johnson Twinomujuni has reshuffled a number of church ministers to ensure smooth running of activities.
Rev Can Robert Kankiriho has been sent on sick leave from Kaburengye COU, Rev. Lovence Natamba posted to Nyaruzinga COU, Rev. Junior Turyatunga from Kiyuuya COU to Kashozi Primary School.
Others are Rev Elly Naamara from Nyaruzinga COU to Kiyuuya COU, Rev Fred Mwesigye from Bweranyangi Cathedral to Greater Bushenyi as curate, Rev Amon Tumusiime from Greater Bushenyi to Butsibo Parish, and Rev Abel Murangira from Butsibo Parish to Kaburengye Parish.
This was during a meeting held yesterday 17TH May with all clergy and church ministers in active service at St Peter’s Cathedral Bweranyangi in Bushenyi district.
The meeting started with morning devotion led by the Diocesan Head of Clergy Ven Rev Canon Godfrey Bejuura, who shared on this year’s Provincial theme “United for service and growth’.
Twinomujuni has expressed gratitude to clergy in active service for the great ministry they are doing for the glory of God.
He challenged and cautioned the clergy to guard against sin and asked them to guard the dignity of the diocese by watching their behavior.
He advised them to take care of their health through routine body checks, publicize diocesan projects and church developments.
