BISHOP JOHNSON WARNS POLITICIANS AGAINST ATTACKING EACH OTHER INCOMING POLITICAL SEASON

The Bishop of West Ankole diocese right Rev. Johnson Twinomujuni has waned politicians to desist from the habits of abusing and attacking their colleagues claiming that they have done nothing rather than complementing what the incumbents have done.
Bishop Johnson said that politicians should be careful in the coming political season and act professionally rather than abusing and attacking their colleagues.
Bishop Twinomujuni added that he is non partisan therefore; he does not support any aspiring candidate.
He noted that politicians who have problems should come to him rather than engaging into political bickering.
The Bishop said this today 29th Sept, 2019 while speaking after lunch at Tuzza hotel that was prepared to send off the Arch Bishop of the Church of Uganda Stanley Ntagali who is retiring next year.
Arch Bishop Ntagali came to the diocese on 28th Sept, 2019 to say farewell to the Christians of West Ankole Diocese. His visit ended today 29th Sept, 2019 afternoon.
Ntagali was given 30 cows by West Ankole Diocese Christians and special amount of money as retirement package.
The minister of general duties who is also the Busheyi District woman member (MP) of parliament Ms Mary Karooro Okuruti, called upon Christians to remain united and also wished retiring Arch Bishop Stanley Ntagali a peaceful retirement together with his wife Beatrice Ntagali.
She also called upon Arch Bishop Ntagali to remain active and keep visiting the West Ankole Diocese and other Dioceses to preach the word of God.
