BISHOP JOHNSON: ‘WE SHALL COMMENT ON ARCHBISHOP NTAGALI’S SEX SCANDAL AFTER HOUSE OF BISHOPS’ MEETING’

The Bishop of West Ankole diocese has revealed that no bishop will be allowed to comment on archbishop Ntagali’s sex scandal until all bishops sit and make away forward for the crisis.
He said this in an exclusive telephone interview with www.mknewslink.com managing editor today 23rd Jan.2021 at 9:00am. The managing editor was at his home in Kabagarame while the bishop was at Bweranyangi hill.
Bishop Johnson revealed that they have agreed as all bishops in Uganda
to make a comment after their meeting which is scheduled soonest.
The entire country and Anglican Church caught fire after the archbishop of Church Of Uganda Stephen Kaziimba announced the suspension of emeritus archbishop Stanley Ntagali from pastoral duties over adultery.
Some people including former provincial secretary for laity Prof. Emmanuel Karooro have condemned action taken by archbishop Kaziimba advising that it was not good for the Anglican Church to wash its dirty linen in public.
The retiring MP for Bushenyi Ishaka municipality who is also a synod member of Kabuba COUin West Ankole diocese Gordon Arinda Cowboy condemned the action arguing that the issue would have ended at Namireembe palace rather than going public.
