BISHOP KATONEENE URGES RUHARO COU KABAGARAME CHRISTIANS TO WORK HARD

Emeritus Bishop of West Ankole Diocese Rt Rev Yona Mwesigwa Katoneene has called upon the Christians of Ruharo cou to work hard and ensure that their church is finished and start a primary school and the health center.

The Bishop Katoneene said this yesterday Sunday 13^th Oct 2024 during the thanks giving service of Mr. Wilber Muhwezi  Kasibante MD www.mknewslink.com   and family for surviving  a nasty motor  accident in Bushenyi town on August 13^th 2024.

Bishop noted that he was in Ruharo cou recently but he observed a huge positive difference as the church is being completed.

The Mayor Bushenyi – Ishaka Municipality his worship Richard Byaruhanga noted that there are few Anglicans in Bunyaringi and Ruharo wards but as time goes on, they will increase and the current church will be expanded.

He bought a goat and gifted it to the emeritus Bishop Katoneene. God Tweheyo a prominent business man in Bushenyi also bought a goat and gifted it to the Bishop.

Geoffrey Twinomugisha Muganda a business man in bushenyi also bought a goat and gifted it to the church which in turn sold it again.

In his speech, Mk Wilber Kasibante thanked God who saved his life and that of his wife in a motor accident and promised to continue working for God and as well as wed his wife next year in April and be a full member of the church.

In a thanks giving , he offered two goats , five chicken and many other things . He was accompanied by his wife Racheal Kasibante , his mother who raised him and paid his fees Mrs. Violet Kasibante aged 85 years together with other family members.

Many friends of Kasibante contributed for his function and the church on his official WhatsApp group and others pledged for the completion of Ruharo cou . Hon.Chris Muganzi (Enganzi) pledged 500,000/= .

Other politicians and important people who attended include district councilor Jenipher Kekimuri Naijunka for central division, Director Bushenyi Municipal Primary school Mrs. Abby Musinguzi, deputy promoters  Mr. Kamurasi and Ms. Josseline . Leaders of the church headed by the catchiest Mr. Robert Warampe, head of Laity Fred Gumisiriza, head of construction Mrs.  Jenifer Muhereza among others .
