The Bishop of Northwest Ankole diocese Rt. Rev.Amos Magezi has challenged the youth who are pillars of the church of God to observe the preventive guidelines issued by the ministry of health and president Museveni.
The Bishop delivered his message yesterday in sermon broadcast live through media. as the five archdeconaries of Church of Uganda in Ibanda district marked the youth day.
â€œYouths, you are pillars of the nation and the church ,wherever you are going, you should remember that there is God who is powerful, who will bring smiles on your faces and who will defeat the Covid-19 disease,” Rt.Rev. Magezi said.
The Bishop thanked the president Yoweri Museveni for being on front line to advise Ugandans to follow the health regulation in order to curb the disease.
He advised the students to continue washing their hands ,eating balanced food and above all reading their notes books especially during lock down days.
“There is hope to forget about the coronavirus because God does not want His flocks to perish or die,” the bishop comforted.
