BISHOP STUART UNIVERSITY HOLDS 16TH GRADUATION, GRADUANDS WARNED AGAINST VICES IN SERVICE

The Honorary Consul of the state of Israel to Uganda Ms. Ishta Asimwe Muganga has urged Bishop Stuart University Graduands to always do the right things as they go into the world of service.
Ms. Ishta was today 26th March 2021 speaking as the chief guest at the 16th graduation ceremony held virtually at Igongo Cultural Centre in Biharwe, Mbarara city north, Mbarara city.
Over 1900 graduands of which 49.9 percent were males and 50.1 females received awards of Post graduate degrees, Diplomas and Masters Degree in different fields

Ms. Ishta advised graduands to avoid vices such as corruption, absenteeism, pride, conflicting at work places among others and instead focus on doing well at all times since it will eventually pay off.
She further appealed to them to aim at creating their own jobs through starting businesses instead of seeking for Jobs which are scarce nowadays.
The University Vice Chancellor Ms. Mauda Kamatenesi thanked Ugandans for their continuous support towards the university ever since it started in 2002, received its provincial licence in 2006 and a charter from the government in 2014.
She revealed that the University so far has five faculties including the faculty of law, Education arts and media studies, Agriculture Environment Sciences and Technology, Business Economics and Governance, Nursing and Health Sciences, plus the Directorate of Graduate Research and Innovations.
Other guests who graced Bishop Stuart University 16th Graduation ceremony included the University Chancellor Rt. Rev. Dr. Fred Sheldon Mwesigwa, Mbarara City mayor Robert Mugabe Kakyebezi, Dr. Jotham Barugahare.
