BISHOP STUART UNIVERSITY PERMITTED BY NCHE TO EMBRACE ONLINE TEACHING

Bishop Stuart University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Trinity Western University of Canada so that both Universities can have online teaching and learning systems.
Bishop Stuart University has also established a Facilitated Academic Resource (FAR) learning Centre to house and support the learning community of TWU at BSU.
In a press release by the university academic registrar Aruho Abdon Rutega, National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) approved and permitted Bishop Stuart University to roll out 89 Academic Programs on Open, Distance and eLearning (O DeL)
He added that the university has established a special computer laboratory specifically to enable the eLearning.
The academic registrar went on to inform all continuing Students that the resumption of the Second Semester Academic Year 2019/2020 will commence on 26th October 2020. This will start with a mandatory online orientation on COVID-19 SOPs on 26th October 2020 andeffective online teaching will commence on2nd November 2020.
