BLOODSHED IN SHEEMA: SUPPORTERS OF; KATESHUMBWA, DR.ELIODA CLASH IN KABWOHE TOWN

Supporters of Sheema municipality MP candidates; Dr. Elioda Tumwesigye and Dickson Kateshumbwa yesterday 4th Jan.2021 almost killed each other in Kabwohe town.

Eye witnesses intimated to www.mknewslink.com that supporters of Dr. Elioda who were campaigning on Kabwohe streets with their candidate started throwing stones at Kateshumbwa and his team who were returning from a rally.

Eye witnesses added that it was at this point that a fight emerged between supporters from both sides and some were seriously injured.

According to Dr. Elioda, Kateshumbwa is using Uganda police and UPDF to confuse people in the area.

However, Dickson Kateshumbwa described Dr. Elioda Tumwesigye as a weak leader who has spent 20 years in power but still has to campaign on highway, a busy passage for people and their property.
