BREAKING: ANOTHER SUSPECTED BOMB KILLS SCRAP DEALER, INJURES OTHERS IN NAKASEKE
In Nakaseke—
Another suspected bomb explosion has happened in Nakaseke district today morning.
The explosion which occurred on Thursday morning killed one Alfred Mandera and injured a yet to be identified number of others.
It is alleged that the incident happened at Kapeeka trading Centre in Nakaseke district when Mandela a scrap dealer was hitting the metal.
By the time of this publication, police were already at the scene and had gazzeted the place.
This is a second bomb explosion in Nakaseke district in a period of about two weeks.
On 29th Oct. 2021, another suspected bomb blast which occurred at Ssegalye village, Semuto sub-county Nakaseke district killed three children; Pius Kiwuwa aged 12, Micheal Kiyingi aged 14, and Odong aged only nine months.
The minister of state for internal affairs Gen. David Muhoozi, has since revealed that the bomb that killed three children in Nakaseke district was a crime of passion.
This is after the Nakaseke district woman MP Sarah Najjuma asked government to come up with a statement on the bomb that killed the three children last month.
Muhoozi informed parliament that they suspect the bomb was a crime of passion as the suspect in the case is on the run.
