According to sources from Kashenshero town council and the CAO’S office ,the lifting of Nzeyimana’s interdiction was effected at the beginning of last week and is said to begin work amidst protests from town council Councillors.
CAO Simon Akelng declined an interview with www.mknewslink.com managing editor over the same issues and the other hand sources confirmed that Nzeyimana interdiction was lifted and he is scheduled to begin work.
A source added that because of the Covid 19 ,the offices are almost closed and councilors do not know what is taking place though they had vowed not to allow Nzeyimana back to Kashenshero town council
Nzeyimana was interdicted December 2019 after he stopped the engineer from signing for money from works account though he was a principal signatory to the account.
The town clerk for Kashenshero town council Arthur Nzeyimana was interdicted after he allegedly collaborated with his treasurer Kajangu to steal 38 million shillings from the road fund.
Nzeyimana was later saved by report produced by commiittee led by Israel Atukwase the auditor which councilors believe was fake basing on grounds that the head of this commiittee turned out to be the supplier of Murram to the town council.
Councilors say that Atukwase sided with Nzeyimana since they were colleagues and he gave him a tender to supply Murram.
