BREAKING NEWS: LATE HEADEX RWAMUTWE’S REAL KILLER ARRESTED

IN BUSHENYI—

Bushenyi Police today May 12, 2017 arrested the killer of the late John Rwamutwe who was kidnapped and murdered last week in cold blood.

Greater Bushenyi regional police spokesperson identified the killer as Alvin Kamusiime aka Jakoda 25 years a resident of Rukararwe cell Nyamiko ward Bushenyi-Ishaka municipality in Bushenyi district.

PRO Martial Tumusiime told www.mknewslink.com editor at 12:00pm today that the killer had even confessed that he killed Rwamutwe but had not given the reason why he did it and the other people he had in the deal.

He added that the suspects from Kaberebere town council in Isingiro district; the boda boda cyclist who drove him to withdraw 500000= which was sent by Mrs Monica Rwamutwe as a ransom and the mobile money agent where he withdrew the money from. The two are police custody to help in investigations.

Mr. Tumusiime also revealed that the killer even confessed to flying squad detectives and the regional police CIID Bushenyi greater Benard Muumuza that he is the one who indeed kidnapped and murdered late Headex Rwamutwe last week.

“We have managed to arrest this killer on our own as police and we are sure that he is the one who murdered Headex Rwamutwe. The public has been accusing us of not working but we have made it one week” RPC Eddie Sserunjoji told www.mknewslink.com editor today morning.

Mr. Sserunjoji added the killer who is a driver and a son of Charles Kabareebe a butcher in Bushenyi town has been doing part time driving to individuals. Relatives of the late Rwamutwe told this website that he even drove the late Rwamutwe sometimes and was well known to him.

According to Bushenyi residents this editor spoke to, said that Kamusiime is a well known person who rejected school and his father has been battling with because being a difficult son.

Police added that he [Kamusiime] should not have done it alone. They [police] noted that they are going to handle him slowly and reveal his colleagues who assisted him in the deal.

Regional CIID Benard Muhumuza was heard telling the RPC that the killer, since he had confessed would be taken to the magistrate at chief magistrates’ court today afternoon and then he records extra-judicial statement to back up police evidence.
