There was drama at Rwabutura Archdeaconry yesterday when Dr. Elioda Tumwesigye, the Member of Parliament for Sheema Municipality also the Minister of Science Tecnology and Innovations delivered 100 bags of cement to Rwabutura Archdeaconry and they were first rejected.

Minister Elioda Tumwesigye is embroiled in wrangle with Rwabutura Archdeaconry Christians over their tax waiver he interfered with.

According to the source that was at the church yesterday when Elioda was delivering the bags of cement, after Christians refused 100 bags of cement, Dr. Elioda called the Bishop of West Ankole Diocease Bishop Johnson Twinomujuni who in turn called the area Archdeacon Can. Twinamatsiko who calmed down the Christians and they eventually accepted the cement.

Although Christians accepted the cement, they said they will keep the cement in store until Dr. Elioda apologizes to them following his interference with the tax waiver of their church.
