BSU, MUST TO START HERBAL MEDICINE PROJECT

Bishop Stuart University in partnership with the Mbarara University of Science and technology are to start a project of herbal medicine.
This was revealed by the vice chancellor Bishop Stuart University Prof. Maud Kamatenesi during a press briefing held at the campus premises.
Prof kamatenesi noted that BSU and MUST have already put up herbal garden by planting trees of valve medicinal plant
She noted that even what is seen as modern medicine was once herbal medicine.
Prof. Kamatenesi said that this project is funded by World Bank loan scheme through Mbarara University of science and technology endorsed by the government of Uganda.
She noted that this is intended to treat some of the diseases which people are suffering.
