BUHWEJU: UNCLE DEFILES 16 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER, FORCES HER TO ABORT

A 16 year old girl from Buhweju is currently under psychological torture after her uncle defiled, impregnated and forced her to abort the fetus.

The victim whose names have been withheld is a minor resident of Nsiika B, Nsiika town council and has been a Senior three student of St. Charles SS Sembabule.

According to the victim, when her father died, one of the uncles pledged to see her through school but unfortunately started using her sexually.

She narrated that after some time, another uncle from Sembabule whose names have been withheld because police are hunting for him also volunteered to help her through school. He also occasionally defiled her which resulted into pregnancy and he forced her to abort it.

Solomon Ndyamuhaki, the managing director Reach A teenager Western Uganda, a Community Based Organization(CBO) intimated to www.mknewslink.com  that the child ran to them for help and they have so far intervened into the matter.

According to Ndyamuhaki, they have reported a defilement case at Buhweju police station under SD Ref 18/3/9/2021.

The managing director of the CBO noted that the organization has transferred the girl to Kampala under the care of UGANET a shelter home for sexually abused girls.
