BULISA DISTRICT GETS FIRST EVER VOCATION INSTITUTE

Bulisa district has got ever first vocation Institute after staying for many years without any technical Institute.
Albertine Business Vocation College Bugungu was initiated by the area Member of Parliament Stephen Birahwa mukitale was launched yesterday evening by the Prime minister of Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom Norman Lukumu.
Speaking during the launch, the proprietor of the school,BirahwaMukitale, explained that the institute will cost him 2.5 billion when completed, adding that he started it after realizing that his subjects would travel long distances to get technical schools in the neighboring districts like Masindi and Hoima.
He also said the institute will help to impart skills among the students in Bulisa district to help them tap jobs in the oil which was discovered in the Albertine grabben.
Rtd. Leu. Patrick Kasumba the member of ParliamenBujenjecounty called upon the people of Bulisa district to embrace the institute such to enable them get jobs in the oil industry.
Officiating as the chief guest, the Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom Prime Minister Norman Lukumuadvised the people of Bulisa to educate their children and warned men to stop leaving the responsibility of educating children to women noting that in Bulisa district it is a common vice which need to be fought.
Lukumu also asked the people of Bunyoro to produce as many children as they can noting that Banyoro a very little in number.
He added that according to the figures released by the Uganda Beural of Statitics, indicated that Banyoro are only 966000 something he said that it is alaring.
