BUNYORO SENIOR PASTOR ON RUN AFTER EXTORTING PDM MONEY IN BULISA DISTRICT, RDC ORDERS ARREST

A renown born again  pastor of Kalenigeija  miracle church in Biso sub county Bulisa district is on run following an arrest warrant issued to him over alleged extortion of PDM money from beneficiaries.

The pastor has been identified as Robert Agaba of Kalengeija miracle church who also doubles as Sacco chairperson for Busingiro parish.

Bulisa district resident district commissioner Bahebwa Longino told Mk News link.com  this Monday morning through phone call that he has ordered for immediate arrest of the suspect on allegations of extortion of PDM money from beneficiaries after he was tipped by the residents.

Its alleged, the suspect solicited for money ranging from 20.000shillings to 80.000/= claiming that the money shall be used for opening the bank account and facilitating the district officials.

It is also alleged that the pastor charged each of the beneficiaries 10.000/= for buying him a phone which he claims shall be used for collecting data in running Sacco work.

Bahebwa Longino appealed to government to intervene in the matter.

Denis Oyewa the chairman lc3 Biiso subcounty confirmed the report saying he had communications from RDC ordering for the arrest of the suspect.

Oyewa warned Sacco chairpersons and beneficiaries within the sub county to desist from such acts or else risk to be arrested.
