BUSHENYI BODA BODA OPERATORS SET UP NEW RULES

Boda boda riders in Igara East, Bushenyi Ishaka Municipality have set up new rules and regulations to govern the operation of boda boda business following several complaints.

This was resolved yesterday shortly after the meeting of boda boda riders from stages of Nyakabirizi,Kazuho,Rwentuha and Kyabugimbi held at Rwentuha playground.

During the meeting chaired by the traffic officer in charge of Bushenyi police station Julius Tushabe, members resolved that all bodaboda riders will have to register in order to be allowed to operate in Igara East constituency.

They also resolved that no individual is supposed to park on a stage where he is not a member.
The new rules and regulations set up to curb crimes committed against the boda boda riders especially by criminals who disguise as passengers and end up attacking the cyclists.
