By Aiden Graw
In Bushenyi—-
As Uganda joined other countries to celebrate the assumption day of Mary, Christians have been called upon to seek and pray for their families through Mary because she is the easiest way to get Jesus Christ.
According to Christian tradition, Assumption Day is the principal feast day of the Virgin Mother Mary. It is celebrated annually on or around August 15th although some
countries celebrate the day at other times of the year.
The remarks were made on Wednesday,15 by Rev father Charles Nuwagaba while preaching at the mass at St.Kagwa parish Bushenyi.
Fr Nuwagaba further noted that invoking through mother Mary helps one to grow spiritually.
He added that celebrating the Assumption Day is a sign of hope that Christians, through Christ and the intercession of Mary we shall be brought to life.
