BUSHENYI D.E.O RWAMPORORO CLARIFIES ON WITHELD UACE RESULTS

The Bushenyi District Education officer Saul Rwampororo has clarified
on schools whose 2017 UACE results were withheld on suspicion that they had involved themselves in various forms of examination malpractice.
While releasing 2017 UACE results on Wednesday, the Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) withheld results for 79 candidates suspected to have involved themselves in various forms of examination
malpractice.
Rwampororo disclosed schools whose results were withheld in Bushenyi district as Bweranyangi girls and St. Agnes, St. Mary’s Kyamuhunga. However, he said that soonest their results will be released once the officials make thorough check-ups in the errors that were made.
Rwampororo noted that students made some errors during the process of
filling UNEB forms.
Rwampororo congratulated teachers and parents upon the good
performance, urging them put more efforts to sustain the best
performance.
The results of last year’s Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education
(UACE) exams were released to the public in Kampala with a slight
decline in performance registered.
