BUSHENYI DEO WARNS VALLEY UNIVERSITY FINALISTS TO GO FOR FURTHER STUDIES, NO TEACHING IN PRIMARY SCHOOL WITHOUT DEGREE

Bushenyi district DEO Saul Rwampororo has warned Valley University finalists to go for further studies adding that no primary teacher will be allowed to teach without a degree.
Rwampororo said this while officiating at the farewell party for in service and full time students at the university in Bwatogo cell central division Bushenyi Ishaka municipality.
He assured Valley University management that in service teachers will flood the university because the process of teachers to have a degree in order to practice will start very soon therefore the university should be as prepared as possible.
Rwampororo hailed Dr. Enos Rwasheema for teaching him at Masheruka Secondary School and becoming an important person in the society of Uganda.
Dr. Rwasheema who is the vice chancellor of the university warned the finalists to be the real ambassadors of the university in their communities as alumni of Valley University of science and technology.
Rwasheema noted that National Planning authority records reveal that 700,000 students graduate every year but only 90,000 get jobs.
The academic registrar Esther Madu hailed the finalists for completing their courses successfully and called upon them to recommend as many students as possible so that they can benefit from the university.
The Guild president of the university Andrew Agaba asked the finalists to plant the right seeds after their course of study.
Chairman of the in-service students association Robert Abenaitwe told www.mknewslink.com that they formed the association so that they could be united .
