BUSHENYI: DEPUTY RDC OVERWHELMED BY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, LAND CONFLICT CASES

The Bushenyi deputy Resident District Commissioner Loy Namara has revealed that she is overwhelmed by cases of domestic violence and land conflicts.
She said this yesterday while addressing Kyeizooba sub county members at the Sub County headquarters.
“Am overwhelmed by cases of domestic violence in the district .I thought you people were civilized and above those petty- petty conflicts,” Namara noted.
She noted that for the time she has been in office in the absence of RDC Tibemanya who lost his wife recently, she has been overwhelmed by cases of domestic violence and land conflicts.
Namara advised parents to always consider a girl child when sharing land amongst their children noting that girls need to be treated equally as boys.
“Today am in Kyeizooba,tomorrow I will be in Nyabubare, then in Kyabugimbi the next day ,but always handling cases related to domestic violence and land conflicts,” She added.
